Welcome to Sitesee's Travel Directory. To begin, select an area of the world map or search for your desired destination.

Update your Listing

Before you can make updates to your directory listing, you need to claim your listing. This needs to be done for each listing that you own. Please click here if you need additional information on claiming your listing.

Login

Click on the "Login" link at the top of the page. A simple login screen will be displayed. Enter your Sitesee id and the password for that listing and click the Log in now option. Use the Forgot Password? link if you forget your password. A link to reset your password will be sent to the email address you provided or to the Registrant Contact as identified in the domain Whois. If you have any questions or problems, you can click here.

Once logged into your account, your personal "map" is displayed. You have many options for customization of your map image, although only basic information needs to be included in order to fully activate your directory listing.

To see how you can update and customize your map, click on the question mark on the top right of your screen.

Help boxes will appear, with instructions on how to proceed. Click the question mark again to hide the help boxes

Change your Member Geo information

You can change the display and update information related to your member location. These fields control what is displayed in your Listing box and also where your map "info bubble" is located on the SiteSee directory.

First, click on the edit tab below your listing in the directory.

You can view and change the following fields:

Click on the Save button at the bottom of the screen to save any change. You may need to refresh your browser or clear your cache to see your changes.

If there are fields that you do not want to display, such as an email contact, you can click on the "eyeball" to the right of the field and that field will be hidden on the Listing box. These changes are made immediately when saved.

You can also change the color of your listing box layout, by clicking on the Styles mini-tab. Select the color you would like, then click on the "Apply" link below it. Go back to the minfo tab and "Save". Again, you may need to refresh your site to see any changes made.

You may also make changes to your geo-listing by going to your Dashboard, clicking on the Manage tab, going to the Affiliate / Member Profile and Edit Member Geo Info pages. See below for more information.

Update your member listing information

In the Dashboard, click on the Manage tab.

The Affiliate/Members screen will be displayed. Your name will be displayed under the Affiliate ID column.

Click on your name once it is displayed in the Affiliate Id column. Now the Edit Member Profile / Edit Member Geo Info screen will be displayed.

The Edit Member Profile tab will display and update information related to your member account including these fields:

To make a change, simply enter the new information in the box and click "Save" at the bottom of the screen.

If you would like to remove your listing from the SiteSee directory, click on the Directory Member Visibility dropdown list and select the appropriate entry. Or, you can click on the "Opt Out" button on the right-hand top of the screen. You can either opt-out entirely or set the entry to be temporarily invisible if it is still under development or for other reasons you do not want it displayed at this time.

Update your listing with a photograph and video

To add videos and photos, please follow these directions:

In the Dashboard , click on the Set Up Content link.

Select Step 3 - Add Content, then click Add at the bottom of the page to add the content.

You may search from popular content sites like YouTube and Photobucket to find content. Use the SEARCH button to locate videos with your keywords and add a title and description for the content. You may also assign specific keywords (tags) for optimizing your searchability.

For a free upgrade, follow these directions. From the dashboard, click on "Upgrade Account" link.

Select the upgrades you would like. You will not be charged or asked for payment details during the free trial period. Confirm your selections.

Click on the Go To Site link in your dashboard. You will now see a Manage Profiles link on your directory map listing page.
